Henry Bland

Henry Bland was an 18th-century cleric.〔(ECCO TCP )〕
He was born in 1706 in Yorkshire and educated at Eton and King's. He was Rector of Great Bircham, Norfolk from 1706 to 1744〔(Clergy Database )〕 and of Harpley, Norfolk, 1715 to 1744; an Honorary Chaplain to the King and Chaplain to the Royal Chelsea Hospital from 1716;〔"The Historical Register Vol XIII" London, R.Nutt, 1728〕Headmaster of Doncaster School〔"General biography; or, Lives, critical and historical" Aikin,J; Johnston,W; Morgan,T: Edinburgh, Bell & Bradfute, 1804〕 from 1699 to 1710 and then of Eton from 1719;〔(College web-site )〕 and Canon of Windsor from 1723 to 1733.〔''Fasti Wyndesoriensis''.
